The property owner of a large shopping center commissioned Claim Resolved for representation when their insurance carrier refused to provide an equitable settlement for hail damage. Their insurance carrier offered a little over $250,000.00 for storm damages; the roofer’s estimate was over one and a half million dollars. Our inspection and moisture scans found such extensive damages that we agreed to the appointment of the insurance carrier’s umpire.


  • Mutual inspection of disputed roofing led to agreeable resolution between Claim Resolved and carrier.

  • Indemnification extended to policyholder for replacement of all damaged roofing systems, totaling $1,205,544.28.

  • Additional $251,063.10 available for necessary code upgrades.

  • Total claim settlement exceeded $1.7 million.
